Paragrasp: een leesliniaal voor online content

Soms is het online nogal moeilijk lezen. Ik heb zelf vooral moeite met de grote tekstblokken. Niet het lezen zelf gaat moeilijk, maar je ogen op de juiste plaats houden. Je bent gauw afgeleid, opent een andere tab, leest verder, gaat terug. Maar je hebt telkens dat moment dat je moet zoeken naar de zin waar je gebleven was.

Hier komt Paragrasp te hulp. Deze Firefox-extensie markeert de paragraaf die je aan het lezen bent. Hierdoor kan je gericht lezen, paragraaf per paragraaf. Zeker als je blogs volgt met langere artikels, zoals Daringfireball, is Paragrasp nuttig om te hebben.

Introducing Paragrasp, an extension for Mozilla Firefox, to aleviate your problems. It adds a highlight to the current paragraph you’re reading, and allows you to use simple keyboard shortcuts to navigate forward or backward, moving the highlight and automatically scrolling the window to focus your reading attention to the center of the screen. Each window and tab has their own highlighter, which allows you to switch between them while still keeping your place.
