Lindows becomes Lindash

Because of the recent problems with the name “Lindows” in the Netherlands and Belgium, Michael Roberts (Lindows’ CEO) decided to lauch a new website. You can find the new website at: www.lin—s.com. You pronouce lin—s as Lindash.

Quite a good pun I think :-). And now the three letters that formed the problem in the first place (WIN) aren’t in the address anymore. Now Microsoft can’t sue Lindows anymore…

Dutch citizens deserve the same choices that are currently available to the citizens of more than one hundred countries around the world. LinDash ensures that the Netherlands will have affordable, virus-free options instead of just expensive Microsoft software.

Robertson just wants to sell his product. Just like Gates wants to sell Windows. In the end, it isn’t about freedom anymore, it’s about money.
