How to convert .doc to .pdf

Karma Universe has posted a very good list of programs that you can use to convert a Word document to a PDF. You can read all about it in this blogpage. The text is in Dutch, but the list of programs he mentions is quite good.

My personal favorite to make PDF’s is OpenOffice.org. I’m trying (really hard, believe me…) to use only OpenOffice.org for typing texts, making spreadsheets, etc. The only problem is that we have to use MS-Office in school.
